Delta Charter Elementary K-8 independent home study program offers families a student-focused, public education where California credentialed teachers and parents/guardians work together to create a personalized learning experience.  The educational needs and academic interests of each student receive individual attention through a combination of on-site teacher-assisted tutorial and parent-supervised home study supported by curriculum provided by Delta Charter School.

 

Throughout the school year, Delta Charter provides opportunities for on-site classes, field trips and activities which enrich student instruction.  A partnership between the student, parents and credentialed teacher form a solid educational foundation for a successful home study program whereby the parent/guardian can serve as primary educator for their child.

 

Student course work, growth and success are monitored on a regular basis in conferences between student and parent and their assigned teacher to review student progress, goal achievement and lesson/curriculum planning. Additionally, one-on-one or small group instruction is provided for those students where additional support is needed or desired.
