Enrollment Process

Process you need to know about enrolling at DCHS

 

Thank you in your interest in Delta Charter School. We are committed to offering our students a personalized education that will benefit their long-term goals and help them along their educational journey. Because of this commitment, we interview each of our students and a parent or guardian. To schedule an interview, please supply the following information, if applicable: 

Students grades K-5:

• Intent to register form. You may download this form or you can pick one up in the school’s front office. 
• IEP/504 with psychological evaluation. (This only applies to special education students. Must be a current IEP/504)     

For 6-8 graders coming from a traditional school: 

• Transcript (Please bring a transcript from your current school)
• Attendance Record (This is provided by current school) 
• Disciplinary Record (This is provided by current school) Suspension/Expulsion paperwork (For expelled students you must provide the “Facts and Finding” documentation from the expulsion hearing.)     

Once we receive all documents, we will then review the information and setup a time for you and your child to come in for an interview with an Educational Coordinator. Students currently in Special Education holding a current IEP will need to be reviewed by our Special Education Coordinator. During the interview, the student and parent/guardian will both need to come to DCS. (Note: An interview appointment does not signify official enrollment.)
