
Jeanie Feathers
Jeanie Feathers was born and raised in Turlock, California. She has worked in education for the past fifteen years. While her children were at home she substituted in Stanislaus County during the school year and taught summer school for thirteen years in the Early Intervention Program. In this setting she worked with preschool children who had special needs and did home visits for special needs infants from birth to eighteen months. Prior to working in education she was a real estate broker and helped her husband when he built houses as a general building contractor. Jeanie is a graduate of Humboldt State University and is currently pursuing a mild to moderate special education credential at Chapman University. Her husband of thirty-six years is an educational coordinator at Delta Charter High School. They have two daughters. The oldest, LeeAnn, is married, lives in Maryland, and attends Johns Hopkins University pursuing a master’s degree. Their youngest, Emily, is a senior at University of the Pacific studying music therapy in the Conservatory of Music. During her free time Jeanie enjoys traveling, reading, music, gardening, and cooking. Jeanie loves the variety of educational options available at Delta Charter Elementary School.
