Judy Robinson-Gadea is from Denver, Colorado and attended college at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. She graduated with BAs in Deaf and Elementary Education and a MA in Deaf Education. She lived on the East Coast in Massachusetts and New York for 14 years where she met and married her husband, William, and had her three children, Noah, Luke, and Leah, and taught in classes for the deaf. Since coming to California in 1999, she has worked as a Resource Specialist and a Reading Specialist. Judy has taught for a total of 20 years at in all the grades, including home schooling her own son in his junior high years. On her time off she likes to read, work in her garden, go to the Farmer’s Market and yard sales with her daughter, watch cooking and home improvement shows on PBS, and is actively involved in her church. Judy likes working at Delta Charter because she has the freedom to choose what she wants to teach, so she can teach on areas that she is enthusiastic about. She also likes working with the parents and having lunch with her colleagues.
