Jennifer González has worked within the realms of education most of her life. She was one of five natural children, whose parents took in more than 100 foster children. She enjoyed helping her mother tend to the needs of her siblings. She also lived and worked in Central America and Mexico in her young adult years. She adopted her first children (twins) as a single parent, while working in a small school in Cupertino, California. She lives in Patterson with her son 17 and daughter 14. The twins are now 26.
She began teaching at New Jerusalem School after the death of her husband seven years ago. Currently, she attends Chapman University in obtaining an Elementary Teachers Credential.
In her leisure she rides horses with a Mexican women’s competitive riding team, with her daughter and six other women. They ride side-saddle in the traditional dress of Mexico. She also enjoys music, movies and games, and spending time with family, friends, and a good conversation.
As an adult with a unique learning style, she appreciates the opportunities that Delta Charter can offer each student, with support of a terrific teaching staff and supportive parents.
